Thor, as portrayed in *Infinity War* within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is a central figure in the fight against Thanos.

He is the Asgardian God of Thunder, son of Odin and heir to the throne. This iteration of Thor is marked by significant personal losses, including the destruction of Asgard and the death of his brother Loki.
